Accessibility Statement

We measure the marketing site and the signed-in application against WCAG 2.2 AA. Accessibility is checked as part of our normal release process, and any issue we find is logged and prioritised alongside other work.

• A “Skip to main content” link on every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Every page uses proper headings and landmarks, with one main heading per page.
• A clearly visible gold focus ring on links, buttons and form fields.
• A text-size control in the application top bar that enlarges the whole interface.
• Light and dark themes, both checked for colour contrast on text and controls.
• All icon-only buttons carry a spoken label, so their purpose is announced.
• Pop-ups and side panels can be closed with the Escape key and keep keyboard focus inside them.
• Animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
• Tables can be read column by column, with sortable headings usable by keyboard.

• Some wide registers and reports need horizontal scrolling on small screens. The same information is always available in the CSV export.
• Generated PDF packs (board packs, audit packs) are produced from the on-screen data and are not fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will supply the same content in an accessible format.
• Charts and readiness dials always have the underlying number in text next to them, but do not offer a separate data table view yet.

Sentinel42 relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is tested with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, using the built-in screen readers of those platforms.
